Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UK’s leading specialist recruitment partner, is currently seeking a Payroll Officer for our client based in Dover on a 6 month contract basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is adept at managing payroll processes efficiently.

Payroll Officer Day-to-day of the role:
  • Processing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy in calculations and timely disbursement.
  • Maintaining and updating payroll records and handling payroll queries.
  • Liaising with HR and finance departments to ensure correct employee data and payroll adjustments.
  • Preparing reports on payroll expenses, anomalies, and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to payroll.
  • Assisting in the improvement of payroll systems and procedures.
Payroll Officer Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and systems.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and an ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with legislation concerning payroll, taxes, and insurance.
