Primary School Daily Supply Teachers – Dover
Location: Dover, Kent
Contract Type: Temporary, Daily Supply
We are currently seeking Daily Supply Teachers to work across primary schools in Dover. As a supply teacher, you will play a key role in ensuring the continuity of learning for students during periods of staff absence. This is a flexible and rewarding opportunity, where you will have the chance to work in a variety of schools, helping to support children’s education on a day-to-day basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Ensure that students continue to make progress in the absence of their regular teacher.
- Provide constructive feedback to staff on student performance and behaviour.
- Adapt to different school environments, supporting a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Follow the school's safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Primary Teachers with a valid teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Experience in teaching across primary age groups is desirable, but not essential.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in different schools and classrooms.
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
- Ability to provide consistency and continuity for students in the absence of the regular teacher.
