Primary Cover Supervisor - Dover

Full-time - £110-120 per day - September 2024

Tradewind are recruiting for a passionate Primary Supervisor for a Primary School in Dover on a full-time basis. This role will be temp-to-perm and trials and Interviews will commence ASAP.

The school is a single-form faith school in the heart of Dover and keeps its identity as a faith school at the heart of their ethos. This has given the school a strong community feel a their most recent Ofsted inspection reflects this. They have been graded Good. It highlighted that the pupils are happy and respectful and comments that the parents are impressed with the level of learning that is taking place. The school is easily accessible via public transport and has on-site parking.

The Role

  • Providing cover for class teachers during their PPA time, delivering lessons across KS1 and KS2 Year groups.
  • Managing behaviour within the classroom effectively
  • Providing Teaching Assistant responsibilities across the school when not covering classes.
  • Liaising with Parents/Guardians on the progress and/or potential development areas of students

Requirements

  • Hold a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification, or have experience teaching the UK Primary Curriculum.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS (DBS on the update service is highly desirable)
  • Have right to work in the UK
