About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Tower Hamlets. The role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the learning and development of children, providing crucial support to the class teacher and helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to children who may require additional assistance.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive, focused learning environment.
  • Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom resources.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and reports to the class teacher.
  • Support children with special educational needs (SEN), where applicable.
  • Build positive relationships with students, helping to foster their confidence and development.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in a primary school setting is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
  • A proactive, flexible, and reliable approach to work.
  • A willingness to work as part of a team.
  • A Teaching Assistant qualification (such as CACHE Level 2 or 3) is an advantage but not essential.
