Portfolio Procurement is recruiting a Buyer for a leading FMCG company located on the Kent South Coast.

Candidates should have procurement experience with a proven track record of delivering cost improvements and a strong understanding of the end-to-end supply chain.
Strong negotiation skills, supplier management capabilities, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP or similar ERP systems are required.
A relevant degree or being in the process of studying CIPS is necessary, and the salary for this role is competitive.

Experience/Skills required :

Procurement experience with a track record of delivering cost improvements
A strong understanding of End to End Supply Chain
Strong negotiator with good supplier managements skills
Be competent in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proficient user of SAP or similar ERP systems
Studying CIPS or relevant Degree
