We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our client based in Dover.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing management accounts to track and analyse the financial performance.
  • Manage the sales ledger, handling invoicing, and ensuring timely and accurate recording of sales transactions.
  • Oversee the purchase ledger, including posting supplier invoices and ensuring that payments are processed accurately and on time.
  • Contribute to stock reporting, providing critical data and insights to support inventory management and decision-making.
  • Support the finance team in the month-end close process, including reconciliations and preparing financial reports.

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified accountant with a relevant financial qualification (e.g., AAT, ACCA, CIMA) and a commitment to further professional development.
  • Proven experience in preparing management accounts and managing sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
