Our client is a successful logistics company based in Dover. They are a global company specialising in fast and efficient logistics solutions across a wide range of industries. They are now looking to acquire the services of a Site Officer, working 12-hour shifts, 4on/4off, days and nights. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a similar role, but not essential.Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor CCTV footage, site patrols, all entrance & exit barriers and keeping accurate records of all vehicles entering and leaving site.
  • Manage customers/clients as and when required.
  • Ensure vehicles are parking effectively to ensure maximum utilisation of the truck park.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all customers, visitors and staff members.
  • Process customer payments and update the CRM accordingly.
  • Be the first point of contact for al customers/visitors to site in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as and when necessary.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Previous site-officer/security guard experience, desirable.
  • Ability to communicate politely and effectively with a variety of people internally and externally.
  • Good IT skills and confident using any computer equipment.
  • Analytical and logical problem-solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
