- Managing a diverse caseload in line with the Social Care Capability Framework (SCCF).
- Conducting thorough assessments and reviews.
- Preparing and presenting welfare reports.
- Building partnerships with statutory, voluntary, and private agencies.
- Keeping accurate and timely records using agreed systems.
- Staying up-to-date with legislation, particularly around Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection.
- A recognised social work qualification and Social Work England registration.
- Ability to manage complex cases and work closely with children and families.
- Strong communication, assessment, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
- A commitment to completing the ASYE standard within 2 years of qualifying (for newly qualified candidates).
