This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified or experienced practitioners to make a difference in children and families' lives while developing their skills and experience.The Role:As a Social Worker, you will manage a varied Children & Families caseload, including complex cases. You’ll carry out assessments, reviews, and prepare welfare reports, sometimes involving court attendance. You’ll work closely with other agencies to ensure children’s safety and well-being.Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing a diverse caseload in line with the Social Care Capability Framework (SCCF).
Conducting thorough assessments and reviews.
Preparing and presenting welfare reports.
Building partnerships with statutory, voluntary, and private agencies.
Keeping accurate and timely records using agreed systems.
Staying up-to-date with legislation, particularly around Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection.

What You’ll Need:

A recognised social work qualification and Social Work England registration.
Ability to manage complex cases and work closely with children and families.
Strong communication, assessment, and organisational skills.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
A commitment to completing the ASYE standard within 2 years of qualifying (for newly qualified candidates).
