This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified or experienced practitioners to make a difference in children and families' lives while developing their skills and experience.The Role:As a Social Worker, you will manage a varied Children & Families caseload, including complex cases. You’ll carry out assessments, reviews, and prepare welfare reports, sometimes involving court attendance. You’ll work closely with other agencies to ensure children’s safety and well-being.Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing a diverse caseload in line with the Social Care Capability Framework (SCCF).
  • Conducting thorough assessments and reviews.
  • Preparing and presenting welfare reports.
  • Building partnerships with statutory, voluntary, and private agencies.
  • Keeping accurate and timely records using agreed systems.
  • Staying up-to-date with legislation, particularly around Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection.
What You’ll Need:
  • A recognised social work qualification and Social Work England registration.
  • Ability to manage complex cases and work closely with children and families.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
