Salary: £150 - £230 daily

We are excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a compassionate and innovative SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Dover. You will become an integral part of a supportive team, helping students with autism and complex learning needs to achieve academic success and personal growth. Your role will be vital in delivering a tailored curriculum that encourages exceptional progress.
As an SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering a personalised curriculum designed to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Establishing a nurturing and positive learning environment where children feel safe and supported.
- Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to meet students’ needs effectively.
- Implementing and maintaining high expectations alongside positive behaviour strategies.
- Continuously assessing student progress and adapting your teaching methods to ensure their success.
To be successful SEN Teacher, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- A valid Child Enhanced DBS on the update service, or the willingness to apply for one.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Experience working with children on the autistic spectrum (experience in mainstream settings will also be considered).
- Excellent classroom practice, with a track record of using effective assessment for learning techniques.
- Resilience, adaptability, and a positive outlook.
- A flexible approach and a great sense of humour.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
