About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join a school team and support students with speech, language, and communication needs. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and provide individualised therapy to students with a variety of communication challenges, including speech delays, language disorders, and developmental difficulties. You will develop and implement tailored therapy plans, using evidence-based strategies to enhance students' communication skills and promote academic success.

As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with teachers, special educational needs coordinators (SENCOs), and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development. You will provide staff training on communication strategies and offer advice on supporting students in the classroom. Regular monitoring and assessment of student progress will be a key part of the role, along with adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet the evolving needs of students.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Speech and Language Therapist and have experience working with children in an educational setting. Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as a compassionate and patient approach to supporting students' growth.
