Are you fluent in French or Italian?  Do you currently work in a customer-concentric environment? Are you someone who can foster great working relationships with external suppliers?  Our client is a successful logistics company based in Dover. They are a global company specialising in fast and efficient logistics solutions across a wide range of industries. They are now looking to acquire the services of a customer-concentric professional as a Supply Chain Advisor, be fluent in either French or Italian, working Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working in a customer service environment where they were dealing and managing relationships with external suppliers, whilst monitoring their performance to ensure they are adhering to the operational requirements.Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with suppliers notes and their performance metrics.
  • Able to conduct supplier assessments and evaluations ensuing they are adhering to the company’s standards.
  • Assist with the onboarding processes for new suppliers, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met.
  • Liaise with suppliers to address any non-conformances, such as discrepancies or areas that could be improved.
  • Keep track of supplier’s performances, through regular reviews.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships to foster collaboration and mutual benefits.
  • Identify any potential risks.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal departments and the suppliers.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Must be French of Italian Speaking.
  • Strong problem solving, organisation, and planning skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally, with suppliers/customers.
  • Experience using Microsoft Applications; Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Have a great telephone manner.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability to multi-task handling own workload, whilst supporting other departments.
