HGV Mechanic

Dover

£35k - £45k DOE

My client is looking for a qualified vehicle technician to join their growing team! If you have a level 2 qualification in either heavy vehicles or light vehicles and have experience working on HGVs, then this could be the role for you! – Level 3 qualifications would be highly beneficial for this role, but level 2 will be accepted.

As a HGV Mechanic, you will be:

  • Working in a busy HGV workshop.
  • Servicing HGVs and carrying out general repairs.
  • Performing pre-MOT inspections and diagnostics.
  • Completing all relevant documentation.
  • Any other duties required.

The successful HGV Technician will have / be:

  • Level 2 or equivalent qualification in vehicle/HGV repair – level 3 qualification will be highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience as a HGV Technician.
  • Flexibility with working hours and weekend availability (enhanced rate).
  • Highly motivated with the ability to workunsupervised.
