- Monitor and maintain the health and wellbeing of poultry, identifying and addressing any signs of illness or distress.
- Supervise the conditions of the poultry housing, ensuring correct temperature, ventilation, and lightning.
- Lead and manage farm staff, providing guidance, training, and supervision.
- Ensure compliance with local and industry regulations concerning poultry rearing, health standards, and animal welfare.
- Implement and enforce biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks, including managing footbaths, controlling visitors, and maintaining farm cleanliness.
- Salary up to £37k per annum.Â
