We are seeking a dedicated and motivated teacher to join a vibrant educational community. This full-time, long-term position will span from Easter 2025 until July 2025, and will require you to take on the full responsibilities of a classroom teacher. You will have the opportunity to shape young minds and contribute to their academic and personal growth in a supportive, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver thought-provoking, creative lessons that challenge Year 5 students, helping them to reach their full potential.
- Monitor and Support Progress: Regularly assess student progress, identifying areas of strength and opportunity, while tailoring teaching methods to enhance understanding.
- Classroom Management: Effectively manage classroom behavior and create an environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and respect.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with fellow teachers to uphold high standards of teaching and learning across the school, ensuring students thrive both academically and personally.
What We're Looking For:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential for this role.
- Previous experience teaching Year 5 or within Key Stage 2 is highly preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents alike.
- An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK essential (sponsorship is not available with this role)
