4myschools are seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in a daily supply capacity at Primary and Secondary schools in Downham Market and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities of a Learning Support Assistant:- Assist students with SEND in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
- Support individual learning plans, helping to implement strategies and interventions.
- Foster a positive and nurturing environment to boost students confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor progress and share insights on student development.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Experience working with children with SEND, either in a classroom or care setting.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
- Knowledge of specific SEND strategies and interventions is advantageous.
