Newly created Chief Engineer role within a dynamic, growing engineering SME to lead, manage, and continuously develop the engineering team and all engineering operations for products being developed and manufactured. This includes design modifications, product evolution, compliance with industry standards, and ongoing customer technical support.   

We are looking for a Chief Engineer who is:

• Seeking an engineering senior leadership role and the opportunity to grow with a dynamic, rapidly growing, engineering SME that design and manufacture of a diverse range of products.
• Proven a track record of leading, managing, and developing engineering teams.
• Previous mechanical design or electromechanical design experience.
• Familiarity of products designed, developed, and manufacture for regulated environments would be advantageous.
• An ability to work closely with customers and develop strong working relationships.

The Chief Engineer opportunity:

• Leading and managing the engineering team for existing products, ensuring the continuous improvement, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage the delivery of product design and development through the engineering team.
• You will oversee product design modifications, implement product enhancements, and ensure product compliance with industry standards.
• Act as a technical liaison between the company and its customers, providing technical support, and expertise.
• Develop and manage product plans, budgets, and timelines for engineering activities.
• Develop a strong working relationship with the operations and manufacturing teams to drive improvements and appropriate changes within a fast-growing business.
