A flexible, family feel Construction Consultancy in Derby is seeking a client facing Senior Quantity Surveyor to enhance their team.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will become an integral part of a friendly team of five Surveyors, actively involved in diverse projects spanning the public sector, local developments, and nationwide commercial clients.

The new Senior Quantity Surveyor will have ample opportunity for long term progression, taking on additional responsibilities such as aiding in the firms exciting plans for expansion, growing & managing the QS team. This Consultancy has a strong presence in the Food, Retail and Healthcare sectors, working with renowned national retail clients as well as local hospitals. Alongside this, they also carry out mixed use, residential, commercial and logistics schemes. There's no shortage of interesting schemes to get involved in.
The company prides itself on flexibility and a supportive work environment, offering the option to work from home several days a week and ample support with professional goals such as achieving MRICS and progressing long term.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor
The new Senior Quantity Surveyor will be eager to make a positive impact on a small but growing team, will enjoy a small company environment and the benefits that come with this, and will be motivated to help the company achieve their growth goals. You will also have:
- A construction related degree qualification (ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying)
- A strong Quantity Surveying background within UK Construction Consultancies
- Excellent pre & post contract experience
- Project Management/Employers Agent experience is highly desirable
- Ideally MRICS or currently working towards
- Retail or healthcare experience is highly desirable but not crucial
