Production Scientist

Department: R&D/Manufacturing

Job Purpose:

Join a dynamic R&D team as a Production Scientist. You will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing process for innovative reagents used in R&D projects and external pilot studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain manufacturing processes, including raw material receipt and quality control.
  • Manufacture a diverse range of reagents for R&D and external studies.
  • Design and conduct stability trials and quality control tests.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to transfer projects from development to manufacturing.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific field.
  • Proven experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment, preferably within a science-based company.
  • Proficiency in working with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills (Not Essential):

  • Experience with Quality Management Systems and adherence to standards like ISO 9001 or ISO 13485.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or dispensing processes.
  • Familiarity with quality control testing methods.
