Rapier Employmentare looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Didcot. Assessments availableFriday 17th January 2025 for 06:00 & 10:00.

** Must have 12 months class 1 experience **

Position:Class 1 Driver
Pay:17.00 - 18.63 per hour
Hours:AM & PM start times available (typically between 07:00 - 17:00 but flexibility will be required)
Days:Available 5 out of 7 days. Weekend availability is required due to nature of the business

Role includes, and not limited to:

Transport goods between different locations, ensuring efficient delivery schedules
Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for trunking operations, adhering to company policies
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details
Communicate effectively with the transportation team and other drivers to coordinate trunking operations

Requirements:

Class 1 licence with a minimum 12 months driving experience
No more than 9 points on your licence
Strong knowledge of road safety and excellent driving skills
Available to work weekdays and weekends
Valid CPC card and digital tacho card
