As Field Service Engineer you will:
- Provide exceptional support to all customers
- Attend customer sites
- Perform proactive maintenance & repairs of the product across the South West
- Service, calibrate and repair equipment to the relevant standards
- Ensure all serviced products are left fully operational and tested
- Support other team members on jobs that require multiple engineers
- Provide customer 'user training' when required
- Work closely with the Service Admin team making sure jobs are scheduled efficiently and meeting customers' requirements
The Field Service Engineer will have:
- Previous Field Service Engineering experience would be an advantage, but not essential
- Instrument equipment service, troubleshoot/repair, commissioning and/or installation experience
- Excellent customer communication skills in both writing and verbal
- HNC / HND in an electrical/electronic field or Equivalent understanding from work experience
- Working knowledge of control panel assembly and components PLC knowledge would be helpful but not a requirement
- Understanding of Health and Safety
- Knowledge of RAM's & POWRA's.
- Full driving license
- Confined Space, IPAF and Safety Passport is preferable, but training provided
