The role involves preparing year-end accounts, VAT returns, and supporting bookkeeping, among other responsibilities.
Candidates should ideally have 2+ years of experience in an Accountancy Firm and be studying towards AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualifications.

The salary for this role ranges from £24,000 to £28,000 per annum.

Your career will progress through your studies and work experience, as a Trainee Accountant you will have the support of other employees who are studying, whilst gaining a breadth of experience from senior staff. As a Trainee Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Preparation of year end accounts for a variety of clients including sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
Preparation of VAT returns.
Support with bookkeeping as and when required.
Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities.

To successfully apply for this Trainee Accountant position, ideally you will:

Be studying towards AAT, ACA, or ACCA.
Have 2+ years’ experience within an Accountancy Firm, in a Trainee Accountant position.
Be committed to your studies to ensure your long-term progression and success.
Comfortable building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.
