Alexander Steele have partnered with an established multi-site food manufacturing business in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Our client is seeking for an experienced process technologist to join the business on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your technical expertise with your creativity in the food industry.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company protocols.
• Stay updated with emerging food processing technologies and industry trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as npd team, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to obtain necessary information for food process development.
• Scale up recipes and formulations from the lab to production lines, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Background Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a process technologist role within food manufacturing environment
• A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• HACCP Level 3/Food Safety Level 3
• Problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What’s on Offer:

• Paying circa £45,000 (d.o.e)  
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm
