Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and service to our clients on-site and providing remote support. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and systems, contributing to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency and enpowering brand awareness. You will have strong organisational skills to priotise workload to meet deadlines and targets etc.
Duties
- Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer locations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner on site and remotely too.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored support.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including reports and documentation.
- Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while on-site.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role is advantageous.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while on the road.
- Must be able to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to the industry.
- A valid driving licence is essential for travel to client sites.
