Practice Nurse Location: East Riding Contract Duration: 1 Day Per WeeekAbout the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team for 3 days per week, starting in February and continuing through March & April. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and well-equipped environment while providing high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct health assessments and provide preventative care
- Administer vaccinations and immunizations
- Assist with chronic disease management
- Perform minor treatments and procedures as required
- Provide advice and support on health promotion and lifestyle changes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with the practice team to ensure high-quality patient care
Key Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (NMC registered)
- Previous experience as a Practice Nurse or in a similar role
- Competence in performing nursing procedures, including vaccinations and wound care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Available to work 1 day per week
