Compliance ManagerEast Riding of Yorkshire£40k-£60k Hybrid - 1 day office (after probation or settled in)A boutique Law firm based in East Riding of Yorkshire is looking to recruit a Compliance Manager to join their firm for a departing Compliance Officer that is retiring.This law firm specialises mainly in Real Estate, Disputes resolution, Corporate Law, and Private Client, Family, and Residential Property.They have Clients that include Major Supermarkets.This firm offers a great working environment and culture and you will have autonomy for run the Risk and Compliance department how you see fit. There is no glass ceiling for this role and promotion in titles and responsibilities are on offer. You will be able to grow the Risk & Compliance department.The duties of the Compliance Manager based in East Riding of Yorkshire will include but not limited to:· Support and monitor the on boarding processes· Answer and resolve queries from Fee earners and Senior stakeholders· Advise of AML, CDD, KYC· Advise the firm on SRA regulations and changes· Monitor and Quality Check the onboarding from Legal Secretaries to Partners· Report any Data Privacy breachesThe requirement for the Compliance Manager role based in East Riding of Yorkshire are:· Ideally Risk & Compliance experience from a Law firm· For Solicitors that may want to move into a Risk role - no more targets!!· Open for candidates with strong AML knowledge and experience from professional services background · Great communications skills and ability to influence and manage senior stakeholdersThis is an excellent opportunity for a risk & compliance person that wants a new challenge and have full autonomy on how to run a compliance department.
