Job title: PE Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time PE teacher to teach at a fantastic school in The East Riding of Yorkshire on a temporary basis. This is to cover a vacant position, so there is the potential for this role to go permanent. The minimum length of the booking will be January 2025 to Easter 2025. As this is a full time teaching role, all planning and marking would be expected for this role. This is to start January 2025. Payment will be in line with the Main Teaching Pay Scale, with an annual salary range of £31,650 to £49,084 per year.

This role will involve teaching PE to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, and potentially teaching Spanish to Key Stage 3 students (but certainly not a necessity). All planning and marking associated with a teaching role are expected for this position.

Located in Driffield, this school is easily accessible from most areas of Hull and the East Riding on public transport, and is easily accessible via car. There is a large onsite car park for staff that is free to use and there are always spaces. This school has a fantastic reputation in the local area. With this being a longer term booking, the school would be happy for applications from ECTs, and would be willing to look at putting the candidate through two terms of their ECT. This school is at the heart of the community, and is looking for a candidate that shares their values.

  • Have experience working within schools in the UK.
  • Has experience supporting within UK schools
  • Has experience teaching French to KS4 students
