About the Role:

We are looking for an organised and experienced Credit Controller to join the team at our client a manufacturing company based in Droitwich WR9.

You will play a key role in ensuring the Sales Ledgers are maintained efficiently across three companies and ensuring prompt customer payments.

This position requires someone with a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to maintain relationships with both internal departments and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales ledgers for three companies, including entering cash receipts, allocating payments, and maintaining customer account details.
  • Conduct credit checks for new customers and set appropriate credit limits.
  • Produce monthly statements and chase overdue accounts through calls and letters.
  • Initiate legal action for overdue accounts when necessary.
  • Generate monthly debtor reports and cash target sheets, ensuring targets are met.
  • Resolve customer invoice queries and reconcile month-end receipts.
  • Calculate rebates, consignment stock invoices, and process credit card payments.
  • Liaise with credit reference agencies when required.
  • Perform ad hoc duties, such as maintaining rental records, reconciling bank accounts, providing payroll holiday cover, and processing employee expenses.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

Previous experience in a similar credit control role.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload effectively.

Strong communication skills for liaising with customers and internal departments.

Ability to take full ownership of responsibilities and tasks.

Benefits:

Hybrid working with 1-2 days at home per week, one of which is a Friday.

Please note - You will have to work a full week in the office once every seven weeks on a rota basis. The office is in the countryside out of Droitwich WR9 and has ample free parking

A salary of up to 28,000 per annum.
