Job Description:

As an Electrical Engineer at Abraxas, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for various projects. Your primary focus will be to ensure the safety and reliability of these systems while adhering to all regulatory standards and guidelines. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Installing and commissioning new electrical equipment in commercial kitchens.
  •  Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of existing systems.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical system faults.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Providing technical support and expertise to clients and colleagues.
  • Keeping accurate records of work performed and materials used using the handheld device.
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have City & Guilds in electrical work

Requirements:

1. Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer in a similar role.

2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems installation, and maintenance.

3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

4. Effective communication and teamwork abilities and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

5. Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.

6. Willingness to travel to project sites and work flexible hours as required.
