Job Title: Assembly Operative

Location: Droitwich

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am- 16.30pm, Friday 7.30am- 15.00pm

Salary: £24,126

Job Type: Permanent

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operative with a mechanical engineering background and ideally some cable assembly experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, ensuring high-quality standards and precision. You will be working with various tools and equipment, assembling intricate parts, and handling wiring and cable assemblies. A keen eye for detail and dexterity are essential for this role, as well as a strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical components and cable assemblies following engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure all assemblies are completed accurately and meet quality standards.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery with precision.
  • Conduct final checks and testing of assembled products.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets.

Requirements:

  • Background in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
  • Some cable assembly experience preferred.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Excellent work ethic and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
