Hours: Monday – Thursday 8am- 16.30pm, Friday 7.30am- 15.00pm

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operative with a mechanical engineering background and ideally some cable assembly experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, ensuring high-quality standards and precision. You will be working with various tools and equipment, assembling intricate parts, and handling wiring and cable assemblies. A keen eye for detail and dexterity are essential for this role, as well as a strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical components and cable assemblies following engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all assemblies are completed accurately and meet quality standards.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery with precision.
- Conduct final checks and testing of assembled products.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets.
Requirements:
- Background in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
- Some cable assembly experience preferred.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Excellent work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
