Job Vacancy: Project/Process Engineer - Technical Thermoformed Plastic Components Manufacturer

Location: Droitwich
Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (08:00 - 17:15), Friday (08:00 - 13:00)

About the Role:
In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing and improving production processes. Your tasks will include product induction, order confirmation, process management, tooling trials, CNC trimming, and assembly. You will be responsible for ensuring our manufacturing processes are efficient and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product inductions and ensure seamless integration into production.
  • Confirm order numbers and ensure process accuracy.
  • Manage and improve production processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Oversee tooling trials and process validations.
  • Perform CNC trimming and assembly of thermoformed plastic components.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure quality control and continuous improvement.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience in plastic processing, particularly vacuum forming, compression moulding, and working with composite materials.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment.
  • Experience with CNC trimming and assembly work in a technical environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to optimize production techniques.
  • Familiarity with technical thermoformed plastic components and related technologies.
