Credit Controller

Droitwich

£28,000p/a

Role Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to manage multiple Sales Ledgers for our client. The ideal candidate will ensure prompt customer payments, maintain accurate records, and assist with various accounting duties. This role requires someone with strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workloads, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Ledger Management: Record cash receipts, allocate payments, and update customer details. Issue monthly statements, chase overdue accounts, and initiate legal action for recovery when necessary.
  • Credit Management: Perform credit checks for new customers, set credit limits, and liaise with credit reference agencies.
  • Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare monthly debtor reports, monitor cash receipts, reconcile sales ledgers, and produce various management reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office based systems.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong organisational skills with a systematic approach.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships across departments.
