Job Title: Project Accountant (Manufacturing)Location: DroitwichAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Project Accountant to join a growing and dynamic business at their Droitwich site. This role is perfect for a qualified accountant with experience in manufacturing and large-scale project accounting, who wants to play a crucial role in supporting high-value, capital-intensive projects.The business is an industry leader in producing high-tech cooling systems. Over the past two years, the company has experienced substantial growth, and they are looking for a Project Accountant to help manage the financial performance of their key projects.Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage project finances, ensuring projects remain within budget.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyze project costs and variances.
  • Oversee revenue and cost recognition for large capital projects.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure timely milestone payments.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure financial accuracy and successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the finance team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in manufacturing and accounting for large-scale projects (capital goods, construction, or IT).
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost management in a project environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly with project teams.
