Pertemps are currently seeking a Reach Truck Driver to join our client on a Temporary to Permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently within the yard.
The Duties of a Reach Truck Driver:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move, stack, and organise stock in the yard
- Load and unload deliveries with precision and care
- Ensure stock is stored correctly and in line with company procedures
- Carry out regular safety checks on the reach truck and report any issues
- Assist with general yard duties, including housekeeping and stock control
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
The Requirements of a Reach Truck Driver:
- Valid Reach Truck licence
- Previous experience working as a Reach Truck Driver in a yard or warehouse environment
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks when required
