Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team in Worcestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of new build residential construction projects and play a key role in managing project costs and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the full life cycle of project cost management, including budgeting, cost estimation, and value engineering.
  • Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
  • Provide financial reporting and forecasts, ensuring projects are completed within budget.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress, managing risks, and resolving any cost-related issues or disputes.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams to ensure effective cost control throughout the project.
  • Conduct site visits to assess work and ensure accuracy in cost management and reporting.
  • Support junior team members, providing guidance and mentor-ship when required.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the residential construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and financial management.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
