Job Opportunity: Senior Quantity Surveyor - New Build Partnership Housing

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing and dynamic team within a new build partnership housing company. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing multiple housing projects across a variety of locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the financial aspects of new build housing projects.
Work closely with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Provide accurate cost estimates, valuations, and budgets.
Manage tendering processes, negotiate contracts, and ensure value for money.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Advise on cost control and risk management strategies.

Location & Work Schedule:

Office-based role with a flexible working arrangement.
Site visits required 3 times a week to various project locations.
Flexible 2 days working from home or from the office.

Salary & Benefits:

Competitive salary of 65,000 per annum.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the new build housing sector.
Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract administration.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant qualification (or equivalent experience).
MRICS or working towards chartered status is desirable but not essential.
