Here at Fire Safe Services, were seeking a Part-time Stores Assistant to join our team based in Droitwich.Youll be working in a fast-paced environment in a very busy stores department ensuring all our equipment is assigned to the relevant engineers. Stock audits will be a regular task as well as overseeing out fleet of 35 plus vehicles, making sure theyre fit for purpose and road legal.
The role requires you to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday as theses tend to be our busiest days to a maximum of 28hrs per week but there is some flexibility on the days you work.
What we offer:
Were looking to offer an hourly rate of £11.55ph for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, we offer 25 days + bank holidays per annum, birthday off and the opportunity to buy or sell holiday days and company pension.
Key areas of responsibility:
Working alongside the Stores Manager and assisting wherever needed
Using our internal system (Big Change), you will raise orders for stock/equipment. We also use Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
You will consistently check stock to ensure allocated equipment is accounted for and allocate equipment to our engineers such as Testing Kits along with taking some responsibility of ensuring our fleet of vehicles are audited for stockand equipment
You will be required to also deal with returns ensuring returned stock & equipment is logged and accounted for. Part of your role also requires you to make deliveries, so a full UK Driving License is required
Experience required for the role:
Previous experience of working in Stores is ideal
Strong organisation ability along with a diligent work ethic
Ability to follow administrative procedures ensuring all stock and equipment is accounted for
