Metalis are working with a leading manufacturer based in Worcester who due to expansion are looking for a Toolroom Technician to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Millings, Turning, Grinding, Bench Fitting duties
• Stripping / Assembling dies and trimtools
• Use of Overhead Crane / FLT
• Maintaining Die and Trim tool conditions
• Supporting other priorities within the toolroom e.g. machine breakdowns
• Working in a disciplined, methodical approach, complying with all Company Procedures
• Adhering to strict health and safety procedures

The Successul Candidate will have:

• Previous experience Turning, Milling, Grinding or Bench Fitting (essential)
• Experience operating the Overhead Crane / FLT (Ideally - training can be given)
• A "can do" attitude
• Experience using hand and power tools

Salary:

• 30,000 - 35,000 (dependent on experience)
• Days & Afternoons (6am - 2pm, 2pm-10pm)
• 16% Shift Allowance on Afternoons
• Permanent Opportunity
