I am looking for a Corporate Maintenance Manager to join a local authority North of Nottingham. As Corporate Maintenance Manager, you will manage a team of surveyors and technicians, taking a lead role in the client's asset management plan, as well as the day to day maintenance and repairs of the council's corporate portfolio. Responsibilities for the Corporate Maintenance Manager:
  • Direct line management of a team of surveyors and technicians
  • Lead on the delivery of planned and responsive repairs to a very diverse portfolio
  • Manage contractors to ensure the repairs service is delivered effectively
  • Carry out budget preparation and monitoring
Successful applicants for the Corporate Maintenance Manager role will have:
  • Experience working for a complex organisation
  • Experience in managing a repairs service
  • Knowledge and understanding of the various regulations and practices that apply to managing a corporate portfolio
  • Ability to manage a team and demonstrable experience of developing other staff members
  • Understanding of the processes around disposing of and acquiring assets
