Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of children in the early years. This role involves assisting with classroom activities, preparing learning materials, and providing one-on-one support to children as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and framework.
- Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Provide individual support to children with varying needs.
- Monitor and record children's progress and development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Participate in school events and activities as required.
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and framework is essential.
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or a related field are desirable.
