Supply Chain Coordinator – Dronfield - £33,000 - £40,000

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with an established manufacturing business based in Dronfield who are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team.

As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, material procurement, materials management, control and monitoring of production progress to achieve delivery on time in full.

Supply Chain Coordinator Duties:

  • Manage materials procurement in line with Material Resource Planning (MRP)
  • Establish and maintain stocking agreements to ensure optimal inventory and minimize excess
  • Manage supplier performance, including on-time delivery (OTD) metrics and communicate proactively with suppliers to drive improvements
  • Expedite quotes, acknowledgments and responsiveness to RFQ clarifications for timely bid support and order placements
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams on potential blockers, risks, and changes affecting capacity plans and order commitments
  • Serve as the main contact for customer scheduling, communicating changes and forecasts and managing demand planning to minimize inventory excess
  • Feedback to customers on order status at regular scheduled intervals to keep them appraised on progress
  • Support Integrated Business Planning to enable proactive decision-making based on future order projections
  • Manage work orders (WOs), resources, and materials in alignment with MRP signals to meet production timelines and customer delivery dates on time in full
  • Own and resolve quality and reject issues, including expediting replacement items

Hours: Full time Monday – Friday 36 hours per week (flexible)

Required skills & experience:

  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing business
  • Previous materials planning and procurement experience
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Customer facing with strong written and verbal communication skills
