BIM Recruiter is working with a global design engineering firm who areseeking a talented and driven Highway Design Engineer to join theirdynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design and delivery of innovative and sustainable highway infrastructure projects.
What you'll do:
- Lead the design of various highway projects, including new roads, road widening, and improvement schemes.
- Conduct feasibility studies, traffic modeling, and geometric design.
- Prepare detailed design drawings and specifications.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Contribute to the development of innovative design solutions.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) with relevant professional experience.
- Strong technical skills in highway design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach.
