This is an International brand, continuing to rapidly grow across the Irish market, delivering security solutions for Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Commercial, Banking, and Healthcare projects across Ireland, the UK and teh wider European market.

The Role

As the Business Development Manager, you responsibilities will include:

  • Account Planning: Collaborate with operational business units to identify high potential opportunities for solutions within each branch and develop strategies to engage these clients with tailored offerings.
  • Commercial Action Plans: Contribute to Commercial Action plans by identifying target clients for proactive solution sales amongst prospects and existing clients.
  • Client Acquisition: Develop and implement a strategy for new customer solution acquisition in alignment with Irish and European initiatives.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct commercial client visits and solution demonstrations.
  • Site Risk Analysis: Perform site risk analyses to understand clients’ risk profiles and underlying needs.
  • Integrated Solutions: Work closely with operational business units and the commercial department to cross-sell and up-sell protective services to new and existing medium to large clients, integrating relevant technology to form a solution.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop Branch Managers and Sales Teams in solution sales and the use of available tools and processes.
  • Solution Impact Evaluation: Evaluate the impact of proposed solutions on clients’ processes and prepare transition plans.

The Requirements

To be considered, you will:

  • Have a technology-oriented background with experience in technical sales / upselling (Ideal candidate will have Security industry knowledge).
  • Be self-motivated with drive and commitment to achieve targets.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Focus on delivering results and client excellence.
  • Relationship building and networking capabilities. 

This will be a great opportunity for candidates from an Engineering background, keen to setp further into the Sales / Business Development side of the Security Industry.
