We are recruiting for a Quality & Technical Engineer to join an established business based in the Dudley area. The Quality & Technical Engineer will work to deliver outstanding quality and technical excellence, problem solving, driving improvements and optimising customer satisfaction working as part of busy department.
As the Quality & Technical Engineer you will be responsible for :
* Auditing deliveries, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and maintaining records
* Managing any customer concerns
* Root cause analysis and 8D activity for all returned parts/batches
* Working closely with the design team on new products and improvements, carrying out reviews before release
* Auditing all business unit processes (warehouse, sales order, design) for compliance and reporting
* Implementing audit systems and working with other quality engineers to ensure a smooth process
* Create records for suppliers and warehouse
* Carry out random audits to check paperwork, quantity, labels, issues
* Managing the NPI process, ensuring documents are filed and parts approved
Requirements:
* Able to identify and resolve technical and any quality related issues
* Strong auditing skills
* Experienced in root cause analysis, process audits and continuous improvement
* Strong organisational and attention to detail
