Quality Engineer - Aerospace

Contek are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join an established and growing company in Dudley. This company have been in business for over 50 years and due to growth are looking for their next Quality Engineer to join their team.

Experience working within a Quality Engineer role in a manufacturing facility (Such as machining, fabricating or similar environments) is essential to be successful in this position along with a good understanding of AS9100 Aerospace regulations.

Responsibilities;

  • Creating and reviewing FAIRs
  • Raising and submitting PPAP's to customer requirement
  • Performing internal and external audits
  • Ensure standards and kept to the required standards working to AS9100
  • Manage Quality KPI's
  • Experience and a good understanding of carrying out APQP, PFMEA, MSA, RCA (using 8D, 3C, PIR)
  • Dealing with customer queiries at many levels.
  • Identifying areas of continuous improvement

For this role you must demonstrate:

  • A good understanding of using Microsoft and be IT proficient
  • Being able to be focused on the customer requirements
  • Have excellent communication skills with supply chain and colleagues
  • Be well organised, proactive and have a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

The hours for this role are as follows;

Monday to Thursday
07:30AM - 16:30PM

Friday
07:30AM - 12:30PM

Overtime is available in this role.
