SALARY - £25,000-£30,000 dependent on experience
My client specialises in the HVAC industry and are looking for a Machine Setter/Operator to join their team in Dudley on a permanent basis.
The Setter/Operator will ideally have the following attributes:
- Previous experience working as a Operator / Machinist / Setter
- Radan Programming Experience is desired, but not essential
- Sheet Metal working programming, machinery
- Knowledge of LVD & Trumpf Turret Punch, and Amada TOGU Grinding machinery and tooling preferred
- Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing
- Have experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components
- Be able to read from engineering drawings
- Have previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environment
- Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team
The Setter/Operator role will involve:
- Working with machinery and producingSheet Metal
- Accurate programming, punching, and forming of Sheet Metal components
- Inspecting components as required
- Reading from engineering drawings
- Adhering to company H&S requirements
