Salary: 15.50 to 16.50 an hour
Working Hours:Mon to Thurs - 8am to 4.15pm, Fri 8am to 3.30pm
Duties for CNC Setter include:
- Set and Operate CNC Machines
- Machines used are Doosan, Daewoo, Mynx (Miller),Kitamura (Miller)
- Produce steel parts to a high quality
- Change tips and tooling
- Use FANUC or MAZAK or Siemens controls
- Read from basic engineering drawings
- Quality check parts produced using gauges
Experience preferred but not essential for CNC Setter:
- 3 years served as a CNC Setter Operator in a similar environment
- CNC Programming experience an advantage (training is given where required)
- Ideally have Milling or Lathe experience
