Job Title: Press Brake Setter/Operator
Location: DY2
Salary: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator to join our team, operating our Bystronic press brake machines. The ideal candidate must be capable of reading and interpreting customer drawings, selecting the appropriate tools, and ensuring high-quality production.
Key Duties:
- Operate and set up Bystronic press brake machines to produce components to specification.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer requirements.
- Select and set the appropriate tooling for each job.
- Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter/Operator.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence and/or crane licence would be an advantage.
- A proactive and reliable approach to work.
