Key Responsibilities
- Operate and set CNC press brake machines to produce high-quality components to specification.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and production plans.
- Perform tool changes and set-ups efficiently to meet production targets.
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the machinery and work area.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and resolve them promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize processes and ensure timely delivery.
- Previous experience operating and setting CNC press brake machines is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic mechanical skills to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
