JAM Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter/Operator to join our manufacturing client based in Dudley.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in setting and operating press brake machinery. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and set AMADA press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal according to specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble components as per engineering drawings and production schedules.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards.
- Utilise hand tools and grinding equipment for finishing processes.
- Maintain tooling and machinery in good working order, reporting any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working in the manufacturing environment.
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday 14:15- 23:45
Pay rate:
14.00-16.50 per hour
Immediate starts available for experienced candidates.
Successful applicants will be required to complete a 1 weeks training on the day shift:
Monday-Thursday08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-13:30.
